Our Birmingham has always been called the "Magic City." It rose from the ground as a beacon of hope after the Civil War. It was to be the first great industrial city in the "Old South." The promise of jobs and prosperity drew in crowds from not just the South, but the entire country. This diversity is still present today, as the medical field draws in new residents to the community.

The Magic City is officially named Birmingham, after one of England's greatest industrial cities. Nestled in a valley of mountains rich with not just iron ore, but coal and limestone Birmingham appeared. The cut through the mountain, Brock's Gap, was the deepest man made gap in the world.

Throughout the years Birmingham has grown tremendously. The real estate market is steady, jobs are available, universities & cultural centers are everywhere.

This truly is a "Magic City."
